About Us

Our History & Mission

The Southwest Louisiana Bar Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2009. Our mission includes:

Meeting the legal needs of the area’s underserved
Fostering confidence in the law, lawyers and the judiciary
Encouraging altruism among the legal profession and the general public

The foundation will support worthy causes of a charitable nature related to the legal profession and will help to remove barriers and provide access to the justice system to all individuals regardless of their economic status.
